Accogliente studio su due piani in stile moderno sito nella bellissima via dei Coronari, una delle vie pedonali di Roma, con le sue piccole botteghe artigianali, negozi vintage, boutiques, ristoranti e coffee shops.
Ottimo per un soggiorno breve, è ideale per raggiungere Castel Sant'Angelo, Piazza Navona e Piazza San Pietro in pochi minuti a piedi.
Via dei Coronari ebbe origine nel Medioevo, quando si volle collegare direttamente la zona dello stadio di Domiziano (Piazza Navona) con la sponda del Tevere di fronte a Castel Sant’Angelo, per accorciare il cammino dei numerosi pellegrini diretti al Vaticano. Deve il suo nome ai venditori di oggetti sacri perché questo era il percorso dei pellegrini verso San Pietro; la strada fu aperta dal papa Sisto IV e costituì il primo asse viario della città medioevale, lungo 500 metri: nel primo tratto vi erano alloggiati i conciapelli, mentre l'altro tratto prese il nome di "Immagine di Ponte". Importanti palazzi rinascimentali la riempiono e anche barocchi con balconcini, edicole e portoni. La via era piena di vetrine di antiquari con mobili di ogni epoca; oggi invece ci sono botteghe artigianali, qualche antiquario, negozi vintage, boutiques, ristoranti e coffee shops.

L'appartamento, di circa 28mq, si trova al piano terra nel cortile interno di una palazzo storico ed è composto da un soggiorno con angolo cottura al piano terra e una camera da letto con bagno en-suite al piano di sopra.

Modern studio on two levels located in the beautiful Via dei Coronari, one of Rome's pedestrian streets, with its small craft shops, some antique shops, vintage shops, boutiques, restaurants and coffee shops. Perfect for a short term rental, it is also ideal to reach Castel Sant'Angelo, Piazza Navona and Piazza San Pietro within a few minutes on foot.
Via dei Coronari originated in the Middle Ages, when they wanted to connect directly the area of the stadium of Domitian (Piazza Navona) with the bank of the Tiber in front of Castel Sant'Angelo, in order to shorten the path for the numerous pilgrims heading to the Vatican. Via dei Coronari owes its name to the sellers of sacred objects because this was the route the pilgrims took to reach St. Peter's; the road was opened by Pope Sixtus IV and constituted the first road of the medieval city: 500 meters long, in the first part of this road lived the skin tanners and the other stretch was named "Immagine di Ponte". Important Renaissance palaces and also baroque with balconies, kiosks and doors. The street was full of showcases of antique dealers with furniture of every age, but today there are craft shops, some antique shops, vintage shops, boutiques, restaurants and coffee shops.

This 28sqm apartment is located on the ground floor in the inner courtyard of an historic building and consists of a living room with a kitchenette on the ground floor and a bedroom with en suite bathroom on the second floor.
